1950s Finn Juhl for France & Son 500 Series Side or End Table Teak 20x28 inches
This is a solid teak side or end table, designed by Finn Juhl for France & Son in 1958. This piece was part of the 500 series, which included several table designs with a raised lip along two of the four sides. The piece has a tag indicating it was manufactured by France & Son.
The table measures 19.69 inches deep, 27.95 inches wide, and 21.26 inches high. The legs and base of the piece are in good shape with some minor scrapes and scuffs, and the top shows signs of wear. There is a small sliver missing on one corner as photographed. Our woodworker can repair the corner for an additional fee, and/or can also refinish the top if further work is desired.
