SOLD 1950s Alvar Aalto Tank Chair Model 400 Artek in Finland Vintage Finsven Finmar
Listed for sale is this 1950s vintage Alvar Aalto Tank Chair, Model 400, by Artek in Finland. This iconic Aalto example has been reupholstered in a light beige/off-white fabric. The fabric is in very nice condition and appears to be fairly recent. The frame is free of cracks or breaks in the wood and the chair overall is solid with supportive cushions. This is an excellent vintage example. The chair shows some light wear from use, though the upholstery is quite clean and vibrant.
