1950 Knoll Risom Side Chair in Lacquered Maple with Black Webbing, Model 666C-WB
This is a Risom side chair, Model 666C-WB, designed by Jens Risom for Knoll in 1943. This is an early example, dating to the early 1950s. The design features a lacquered maple frame, and has black nylon strap webbing on the seat and back.
The chair measures 18 inches long, 17.25 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. The seat height is 17.75 inches. This piece is in original condition, and the lacquered maple has taken on a caramelized hue. The black nylon straps are in very good condition but remain original. There are some scrapes and scuffs to the legs and feet. Overall, the chair is in good condition with age apparent.
