Listed for sale is a table designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. The La Fonda Eames pieces were originally designed for Alexander Girard's La Fonda Del Sol restaurant and have now become iconic design objects of the 20th century. This table is an excellent example and is in lovely condition for its age.
Marble: The marble top is in outstanding condition. Original shock mounts are solidly held to the top and polish is lovely on the top without fading. Minimal imperfections can be seen from certain angles. 

 

Bases and Metal: The chromed aluminum base is in nice condition. There is a bit of pitting on the lower part of the base, but is not noticeable at all from a few feet away. Otherwise, the chrome shines bright and shows no signs of rust. 

 

Dimensions: The table top measures 30" in diameter, while it sits 18" high.
