SOLD Eames Herman Miller Sofa Compact with Black Hopsack Upholstery
Listed for sale is an original vintage Herman Miller Eames sofa compact designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The sofa compact was designed to be as efficient as possible when shipping and was therefore designed to fold (However more recent versions have one-way screws to make this more difficult).
This particular example is upholstered in a beautiful and black hopsack fabric. The fabric has held up nicely and looks terrific.
The sofa shows very little wear to the upholstery and foam seems to be in great shape.
The polished steel base bars are in great condition. The feet adjust nicely, paint is all there on metal frame as well.
