Listed for sale is an all extremely rare and early Eames drafting arm shell for herman miller. This is the earliest design of two Eames drafting chairs, however, features the darker grey industrial grade paint, which is the paint that Charles and Ray Eames switched to after realizing that their earlier choice was not durable enough. This example has held up brilliantly and will serve well for decades to come.

Fiberglass

Excellent condition with nice gloss to the shell. It has not been coated or refinished and is original. 

Shock Mounts and Screws

The shock mounts are all original and are still stable on the chair.
