These examples date to the year 1989 and came from the headquarters of American Institute of Architects. The design features a cast aluminum frame with a 5-star base on casters. The seats have plush cushions that are 2 inches thick, and they’re upholstered in black leather. The chairs have a tilt feature with locking capability, a full 360-degree swivel, and a manual lift mechanism.
