This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Management Chair, Model EA417, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This particular example dates to the year 1977. The design features a cast aluminum frame with a manual lift 5-star base on casters. The seats have plush cushions that are 2 inches thick and upholstered in grey fabric, and the seat is upholstered in black leather.

The chair measures 24 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 34 inches high with a seat height of 18.5 inches. The upholstery is in excellent condition, with some light wear apparent at corners. The bases show minor wear from previous use. Overall, this chair is in excellent condition with some signs of wear. Please see photos.
