1970s Herman Miller Eames Time Life Lobby Chair Upholstered in Cognac Leather
This is an Eames Time Life Lobby Chair, model ES105, designed in 1960 by Charles and Ray Eames. The chair was designed for the Time Life Building in New York. This model is slightly wider than the Time Life Executive Chair. The piece features a polished aluminum frame and cognac leather upholstery. It has a four-star base and has its original glides. The lobby chair is no longer produced by Herman Miller.
The chair measures 28.5 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 30 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches. This piece shows light wear from previous use, including minor wear and creasing to the leather along with scuffs to the frame. Overall, the chair remains in very good vintage condition.
