1957 Set of 6 Eames DKR-2 Wire Dining Chairs with Eiffel Tower Bases & Bikini Pads
Listed for sale is a vintage set of six Eames DKR-2 wire dining chairs with black bikini pads, produced circa 1957. The DKR was designed by Charles and Ray Eames, produced by Herman Miller. The black wire bases and seats are all in very good condition for their age and are structurally sound. They may have a couple of imperfections in the wire seats as is expected for chairs of this vintage. The vinyl (naugahyde) bikini pads show a nice patina with some wear from use. See photos. They also retain their original early Herman Miller labels.
The chairs measure 31 inches tall by 19 inches wide and 21 inches deep. Seat height is 18.75 inches. The price listed includes all six chairs.
