This is a French Modernist Art Deco Side Table, dating to the late 1930’s. The base and top are made of solid beech, and the tubular supports are made of nickel-plated steel. The round base and tabletop are finished in a high-gloss piano black lacquer.
The piece was last purchased from Maison Gerard in 1997 for $3,000 usd. We can gladly include the original receipt from this transaction if desired.
This table measures 27 inches in diameter and is 22.5 inches high. The top shows myriad scratches and scuffs, and there is some patina present on the tubular metal rods. Overall, this table remains in good condition and presents beautifully. Please see photos.
