1980s Enzo Mari for Driade Frate Dining Table in Beech with Glass Top 31x51x28"
This is a "Frate" Beech and Steel Dining Table, initially designed by Enzo Mari for Driade in 1973. This example dates to the 1980s. The piece was made in Italy and features high-quality materials. The legs are made of steel, and intentionally exposed bolts are visible through the glass. A solid beechwood beam acts as a stretcher, topped with a rectangular tempered glass top that has a blue-green tint.
This table measures 31.5 inches deep, 51 inches wide, and 28 inches high. There are some chips along the edges of the glass, and there is obvious patina on the metal. The wood has caramelized nicely. Overall, this table remains in good condition. Please see photos.
