1960s Knut Hesterberg for Ronald Schmitt K9 Propeller Coffee Table 44 inches
This is a Modernist ‘Propeller’ Aluminum and Glass Coffee Table, designed by Knut Hesterberg for Ronald Schmitt in Germany in the 1960s. The base of the table is in the shape of a propeller, constructed of polished aluminum. The thick glass top is round and sits squarely atop the base.
This table has a diameter of 44 inches, and it stands 16 inches high. The base has some scratches and scuffs, and the glass remains in good shape. There may be some light scratches on the top, but nothing glaring. Overall, this table is in good condition. Please see photos.
