1960s Ejvind Johansson for FDB Mobler Rosewood & Beech Sewing Table Cart 16x24"
This is a Danish Sewing Cart, designed by Ejvind A Johansson in Denmark in the 1960s. The frame of the cart is made with Rosewood, having a reeded basket that nestles underneath the piece. The interior of the cart is made of beech wood and features several small cubbies to store items.
Ejvind Johannson designed this sewing cart for two factories, FDB Møbler and Vitre. The silhouette was produced in several different types of wood, but Rosewood remains the most coveted.
This cart measures 15.75 inches deep, 23.63 inches wide, and 22.84 inches tall. There is some slight age-related discoloration on the top, and there are some small holes in the wicker basket. Overall, this cart is in good condition. Please see photos.
