1950s Florence Knoll Parallel Bar Three Seat Sofa w/ Oatmeal Hopsack Upholstery
This is an early Florence Knoll Parallel Bar System Sofa, Model 53, initially designed by Florence Knoll in 1955. The sofa features an updated oatmeal hopsack upholstery which was professionally redone by Modernica in L.A.. The design has a squared-off tubular steel frame that is unmistakenly Florence Knoll.
This pieces measures 31 inches long, 84 inches wide, and 30 inches high. The frame shows some scuffs and scrapes, and the fabric is slightly worn. While there are no longer any Knoll labels intact, we guarantee it to be an authentic Knoll production. Please see photos.
