This is a wool rug designed by Max Bill in 1946. This example was produced by Metrocs of Japan in the 2010s. The rug is comprised of New Zealand Wool and features a striking composition of intersecting shapes and tonal contrasts. Woven in Japan with high-quality materials, the rug is dense, soft underfoot, and durable enough for everyday use.
The rug measures 78 inches by 78 inches. This piece does show light wear from previous use but overall is in good to very good condition. Please see photos.
