1960s Kai Kristiansen for Dyrlund Teak Full Size Bed with Headboard & Footboard
This is a Teak Full-sized Bed, designed by Kai Kristiansen for Dyrlund in the 1960s. The bed was produced in Denmark. The teak that was chosen for the face of the headboard and footboard is stunning, and dare I say highly figural for teak. The tone of the wood is superb.
This bed measures 56 inches wide and 80.5 inches long. The headboard measures 33.75 inches high, and the foot board measures 26 inches high. The wood is in terrific shape, though there is some light discoloration on the bottom of the bed frame. There are some surface scratches on the legs and along the sides. Overall, this bed is in very good condition. Please see photos.
