2000s SOM Design for Decca Stainless Steel and Marble Dining Table / Desk 36x72"
This is a Dining Table, originally designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill architects (SOM). SOM was and still is an important architectural firm globally. They produced thousands of their own furniture designs from the 1950s-1980s, and this is a classic example. The table features a highly polished stainless-steel base, and has a rectangular White Carrara marble top. The table was acquired from Kirkland and Ellis offices.
The table measures 36.25 inches deep, 72.25 inches wide, and 30.5 inches high. This piece does show wear consistent with previous use including some small chips in the marble, as well as minor scuffs and scratches. Overall, the table is in good condition. Please see photos.
