SOLD Knoll Stainless Steel Barcelona Chair and Ottoman
Listed for sale is an authentic and labelled Mies Van Der Rohe barcelona chair and ottoman in black leather. The set is in beautiful shape with labels present throughout. In terms of date of production, these seem to have been made around 2000 and I believe the chair and ottoman to be a matching set based upon condition and age. The leather is supple and seemingly free of wear. There is no damage to the piping and the leather has the occasional light scuff on the ottoman, I presume from a few feet (none are noticeable). In one of the later photos, there is a photo of a ripped label. The label is on the chair seat. To confirm that the cushion matches, one can make it out from the visible font. Much like the ottoman, that label would read on the top "UNDER PENALTY OF LAW THIS TAG NOT TO BE REMOVED EXCEPT BY CONSUMER." The U is for Under and line below would be B for Be. Maybe the label was tempting...who knows. Anyways, both frames are stainless steel and are thus a considerably more expensive option.

The frames are polished beautifully. Some wear is visible where the legs meet the ground from rubbing against the floor. Please excuse the finger prints seen on the ottoman's frame in the engraving photo.
