2015 Eero Saarinen for Knoll Armless Executive Side Chair in Charcoal Hopsack
This is a Saarinen Armless Executive Chair, model 72C, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in 1950. This particular example was produced in the USA in 2015. The design features an upholstered seat and back in a charcoal gray hopsack material, and the legs are formed of highly-polished tubular steel.
The chair measures 20.5 inches long, 22.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 18.75 inches. The frame shines brightly, but may show an errant scrape or scratch. The fabric is in good condition, but has one small professionally-repaired blemish near the back of the seat. Overall, this example is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
