This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Desk Chair, Model EA437, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This example dates to the year 2014. The design features a lightweight polished aluminum frame, and the seat and back are upholstered in a burgundy leather. The seat has plush cushions that are 2 inches thick, and this example sports a 5-star pneumatic base on casters.

The chair measures 23.75 inches deep. 22.5 inches wide, and is 42 inches high, with a seat height of 20.5 inches. The leather upholstery is in superb condition, showing essentially no signs of use. The arms have been freshly polished and look pristine. Overall, this chair is in excellent condition. Please see photos.
