1980s Pair of Mart Stam Thonet S34 Cantilever Dining Chairs New Black Leather
This is a pair of S34 Cantilever Dining Chairs, originally designed by Mart Stam in 1926. This particular pair was produced by Thonet in Germany in the 1980s. Each chair features a continuous chromed steel cantilever frame with integrated arms, and are newly upholstered in thick black saddle leather for a fresh and refined finish.
The listed price includes both chairs to be sold together as a pair.
Each chair measures 25.2 inches deep, 22.4 inches wide, and 33.1 inches high, with a seat height of 18.1 inches. These pieces do show wear from previous use including light scuffs and scratches on the frames. Overall, they are in good to very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
