This is a Pair of DCM Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946. These examples were produced by Herman Miller in ca. 1954. The design features a bent-plywood seat and back, and has tubular chromed-steel legs. The wood on these examples was ebonized, and we have given them new angled boot glides to adhere to the original design specs (at their time of production).

Each DCM chair measures 17.5 inches deep, 19.5 inches wide, and 29.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. We have intentionally left this pair in their as-found condition to showcase their history. The chromed-steel frames show signs of age that can likely be polished out if so desired, and the shock mounts have some small superficial cracks. The ebonized ply is wearing away from the wood along the edges, and there is some fading and wear on the seats. Overall, this pair of DCM chairs is in good condition. Please see photos.
