1950S Three-Drawer Steel Frame Dresser Cabinet Model 4013 By George Nelson For Herman Miller Steel, Masonite, Paint, Iron
This is a Steel Frame No 4000 Series Dresser, initially designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1954. Its model number is 4013. It features a frame of white powder-coated bent iron, olive green Masonite side panels, and orange steel drawers. It retains its original polished chrome handles. This furniture series included a chest of drawers, a side table, and a desk in two sizes. The front panels could be chosen in four different colors (black, blue, yellow, orange). The piece is lightweight for easy mobility. This listing is for the 3-drawer dresser, and a matching cabinet and desk are also available for purchase.
This dresser measures 17.25 inches deep, 33.5 inches wide, and 30 inches high. We have intentionally left this piece in its original condition. There are some blemishes on the fronts of the drawers, and there is age apparent on the frame. Overall, this dresser is in very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
