1950s George Nelson for Herman Miller Basic Cabinet Series Three-Door Cabinet Bar
This is a Three-Door Basic Cabinet Series bar in walnut, initially designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1946. This particular piece was produced ca.1950. Three cabinet doors have solid full-length hinges, and the original pulls are present. The walnut has a honey hue to it and presents beautifully. This piece has been recently restored. The interior is quite clean, and offers ample storage space.
The piece measures 18.5 inches deep, 38 inches wide, and 54 inches tall. The piece has some very well-executed veneer repairs that are apparent when looking closely. The steel legs show a few scuffs. Overall, this bar is in very good condition. Please see photos
