This is a Saarinen Executive Desk Chair, Model 71S, originally designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1950. This example dates to the 1980s. It features a 4-star base on casters, and it has a 360 degree swivel. This piece retains its original teal blue-green fabric upholstery, and has black enameled details on its base, as well as coordinating black casters.

The chair measures 24.25 inches long, 26 inches wide, and 33 inches high. It is height adjustable, varying from 31"-36.25" inches in total height. The seat height varies from 16.5"-21.75" inches, and the arm height varies between 23.75 and 26.6 inches. The teal blue/green fabric is in terrific condition, with a very light amount of wear apparent. The base has a few errant scratches and dings underneath, but presents beautifully. Overall, this chair is in good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
