2010s Soft Pad Management Chair, EA435 by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in Grey Fabric
This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Management Desk Chair, Model EA435, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This example dates to the 2010s. It has a solid yet lightweight aluminum frame, and the upholstery is done in a grey fabric. The design offers a tilt feature with locking capability, and has a full 360-degree swivel. This is the pneumatic base.
The piece measures 24 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 34 inches high. The base seat height is 20.25 inches, and the seat depth is 16.5 inches. The fabric upholstery is in excellent shape, having some light marks, and the base has some light scuffs. The arms look terrific. Overall, this chair is in excellent condition with light wear.
