

1960s Set of Eight Mies van der Rohe Knoll Stainless Steel Flat Bar Brno Chairs
This is a set of eight Flat Bar Brno Chairs, originally designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1929 and produced by Knoll in the 1960s. These iconic chairs feature flat-bar stainless steel frames with cantilevered forms and upholstered seats and backs. The chairs have their original 1960s 320 Park Avenue label, and came from the office of a lawyer in Pennsylvania, who bought these new back in the 1960s.
The listed price includes all eight chairs to be sold together as a set.
Each chair measures approximately 22.75 inches wide, 22.5 inches deep, and 31.5 inches high with a seat height of 17.5 inches. The stainless steel frames have a soft, even patina with light surface wear consistent with age. The upholstery appears to be original and shows signs of use, including fading and wear.
