1950s George Nelson for Herman Miller Adjustable Tray Table Model No. 4950
This is a Tray Table, Model No. 4950, originally designed by George Nelson in 1948. This particular example was produced by Herman Miller in the USA circa the 1950s. The design features a molded plywood try atop a chrome steel adjustable base.
The tray measures 15 inches in diameter and has an adjustable height of 24 inches to 34 inches. The tray does show some wear from previous use, including a circular stain on the tray. Overall, this piece is in good to very good condition. Please see photos.
