1970s Triform Cantilever Table by J. Wade Beam for Brueton in Glass and Brushed Steel
This is a Triform Cantilevered Coffee Table, designed by J. Wade Beam in 1970 for Breuton. It is formed of a satin stainless steel triangular base with pencil edges throughout, and a thick piece of intersecting cantilevered glass with 1/2" radius corners.
The triangular portion of this piece measures 25 1/2” x 25 1/2” x 36”, and the piece is 15" high. The ½ inch thick circular glass measures approximately 42" in diameter. The piece is in very good condition with light wear from use.
This style’s slotted cantilever feature is quintessential Brueton, one of J. Wade Beam’s most recognizable design characteristics.
