This is a Custom Polished Stainless Steel Bar Cart or Tea Trolley, produced by Treitel Gratz in the 1930s. This piece came directly from the private collection of Gratz Industries, formerly Treitel Gratz. Its sculptural construction is formed from solid steel, and it has a thick glass top and bottom shelf. The particular designer is unknown at this time, though it was undoubtedly made by Treitel Gratz. Gratz Industries is an important American metal fabricator, having discreetly worked in concert with some of the best-known industrial designers and artists in the USA. Since 1929, Gratz has been an industry leader in the conception and realization of architectural metal, furniture, sculpture, and objects.

This cart measures 16.625 inches deep, 25.375 inches wide, and is 26.75 inches high. The top glass shelf measures 23.75 inches high. It has a small chip on the bottom shelf. The piece has some scratches on the handles, and the frame shows some wear from age. Overall, this cart is in good condition. Please see photos.
