1980s Four Seasons Barstool by Cumberland Furniture in Stainless and Leather
This is an iteration of the ‘Four Seasons’ Barstool, initially designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe & Phillip Johnson in 1974. This particular piece was produced by Cumberland Furniture in the USA in the 1980s. The base is slightly different than the initial design in that it was constructed with flat bar steel that is thicker in width than the original specs. The seat of this piece has brown leather upholstery, and it is both sturdy and chic.
This stool measures 16 inches deep, 15 inches wide, and 29 inches high. The seat shows patina and scratches, and there are some scratches on the base. Overall, this stool is in good condition. Please see photos.
