

1975 Set of Three Herman Miller Eames Arm Shell Chairs PAC w/ Red/Orange Shells
This is a set of three Eames Arm Shell PAC Chair, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1952. These particular examples were produced by Herman Miller and date back to 1975. They were obtained from ALMA College in Maine. The chairs are comprised of a fiberglass reinforced by plastic shells upholstered in an orange fabric atop a cast aluminum four star base on glides. PAC is an acronym for Pivoting Arm Chair.
The listed price includes all three chairs to be sold together as a set.
Each chair measures 24 inches deep, 24.875 inches wide, and 32.25 inches high with a seat height of 18.5 inches. These pieces do show wear from previous use, including some scratches and slight discoloration to the fabric. Overall, they are in good to very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
