This is a Saarinen Executive Swivel side chair, originally designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957. This particular example was produced by Knoll in the USA C. 1974. We acquired this piece from the MetLife headquarters in New York, a notable work of architecture. The chair's design is comprised of a five-star steel base and a plastic seat lined with cushion that is upholstered in a tan vinyl.

The chair measures 24 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 31 inches high with a seat height of 14.5 inches. The chair has wear consistent with its expected use. The leather has some sun discoloration and a few marks on the back of the seat. Overall, the chair is in good condition. Please see photos.
