1970s Warren Platner for Knoll Dining Arm Chair in Bronze with Original Fabric
This is a Platner Armchair, Model 1725, designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. This example dates to the 1970s. The frame of the chair is composed of patinated bronzed-steel, and the seat and backrest are upholstered in a checkered fabric which appears to be original to the chair.
This chair measures 22 inches deep, 26.5 inches wide, and 28.75 inches tall. The seat height is 19 inches. The chair is in solid condition and is ready for reupholstery. The foam on the back rest and seat have hardened, and there are several stains on the cushions. There is ample patina and wear on the frame. Overall, this chair is in good vintage condition.
