1970s Nicos Zographos Rosso Levanto Marble & Stainless Steel Alpha Dining Table
This is a Large Rectangular Marble and Polished Steel Dining Table or Desk, Model TD.30.48, designed by Nicos Zographos for his company Zographos Designs in the 1970s. The design is unmistakably Zographos; having an “alpha” base that is flattened and rounded at the ends. We strongly believe the marble to be Rosso Levanto, having black and dark red tones with white veins that move throughout the piece. The top is thick and quite heavy.
The table measures 30 inches long, 48 inches wide, and is 28.5 inches high. There is a light patina on the frame, and there are some light scratches on the marble. There are no notable chips to the edges of the piece. Overall, this table is in very good condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
