1960s Danish Rosewood Side / End Table Attributed to Fabricius and Kastholm
This is a Square Rosewood and Aluminum Sleigh-Base Side or End table, attributed to Fabricius and Kastholm of Denmark. The table dates to the 1960s. It features a thick rosewood slab top, and the base is formed of cast aluminum. The wood on the top is highly figural, and the soft matte silver hue of the base serves as a nice contrast. We have recently had the top lightly refinished.
This table measures 28 inches deep and wide, and it stands 16 inches high. The wood is in great shape, but a few scrapes and scuffs remain. The base shows some light scratches. Overall, this table is in very good condition. Please see photos.
