1954 Uno & Östen Kristiansson Hunting Chair for Luxus of Sweden
Listed for sale is an original and very rare C. 1954 Hunting chair, produced by Luxus in Sweden. The chair was designed by Uno & Östen Kristiansson. This example is in excellent original condition with beautiful black saddle leather upholstery and a teak frame. It retains the original Luxus label and came from the estate of a Cornell University professor in Ithaca, New York.
The chair does show wear to the saddle leather sling. Most notably, there is some cracking to the seat as noted in one of the images from above. See photos. The leather and all details are completely original.
