1950s Sputnik Tripod Side or End Table Crafted in Walnut with Brass Accents
This is a Round Walnut Side Table that dates to the 1950s. It is unmarked, but it screams Italian Sputnik to us. There is an enameled sphere on the base that sprouts three brass legs, and the top is formed of solid walnut. It is a versatile piece that can be easily moved to hold a drink or a book.
This table measures 16 inches in diameter, and stands 21.5 inches high. There are some light scuffs and scrapes to the wood on the piece, and the brass legs show patina. Overall, this table is in good condition. Please see photos.
