1950s 2-Tier Bar Cart Attributed to Cesare Lacca for Cassina in Mahogany
This is a classic Italian 2-tier serving cart, attributed to Cesare Lacca for Cassina. The piece features a mahogany frame, two removable shelves, and retains its original casters which allow for easy movement between rooms. The design’s graceful lines clearly infer its Italian provenance. The surfaces of both shelves seem to be a laminate material with mahogany appearance, though construction appears to be mahogany otherwise.
The cart measures 17.25 inches long, 33.5 inches wide, and is 27.5 inches high. It is substantial yet lightweight, and the casters roll smoothly. It is in very good vintage condition, with some light wear from use. Please view all photos for details.
